Alexis Fedor is the founder of Artists In Business. Alexis has a Master's in Cross-Cultural Dance and Theater from New York University. Her top achievements are being a worldwide performance artist & choreographer, and a Member of the Writer’s Guild of America East.
A Brief Background
Alexis wanted to create a method for artists of all disciplines to build successful businesses with their art that is in line with their vision and mission as artists. She is a performance artist, writer, and passionate entrepreneur. She, therefore, started a private group for artists who wanted to expand the same kind of businesses in the online space while advising multi-million dollar companies on how to increase their online revenue. Artists In Business was founded from that original 500-person group of artists.
After experiencing a great loss, Alexis experienced her lowest points before returning to work and using what she had learned to design a hugely successful online campaign for a significant client. She worked with several clients whose values ranged from $2 million to $5 million over the next six years, assisting them in expanding the online portion of their businesses. Working with them taught her the fundamental business principles that her first company needed to improve.
Using those lessons as a springboard, she changed careers and began editing books about successful women business owners. She earned six figures from her artwork that year. She finally realized what it took to start a successful art business and wanted to spread that knowledge to everyone.
She came to us to strengthen her social media authority and credibility while boosting her brand. At first, she was somewhat dubious and hesitant. She was informed that we completely guaranteed these placements. She wanted to spread the word about her coaching company for artists. Women interested in art in the age range of 35 to 75 are her target audience.
